La magia esiste, c'è chi dice così. Che ci vogliate credere o no, ci sono luoghi che con la loro semplicità, e la loro atmosfera di altri tempi, sono stati capaci di far viaggiare nel tempo, quasi per bloccarlo, fare un respiro profondo e riprendere la quotidianità con più calma. Provare per credere, uno di questi luoghi è sicuramente: Il Parco del Buen Retiro a Madrid.

Believing or not, I think that there are so many places which through their semplicity and atmospheres which come from another time, could take you and make you travel away from reality. It really looked like your reality stopped, you could take a long breathe and after you can come back to your everydaylife. You have to try to believe! And one of this magic place, is certainly: Parco del Buen Retiro in Madrid.

Situato nel cuore di Madrid, questo parco a mio parere è una delle caratteristiche che per me ha reso unica la città. Ricco di statue e strutture al punto giusto, pienissimo di alberi e fiori curatissimi, e clichè tanto inusuale quanto perfetto nella sua semplicità, il laghetto artificiale nel quale è possibile remare e trascorrere un momento di autentica tranquillità. Il nome infatti anticipa la sua storia e se vogliamo la sua "funzione", innegabile infatti è il suo essere realmente luogo di ritiro così vicino ma così "lontano" dal centro cittadino. Alle spalle del Museo del Prado infatti, basta una strada ed eccoci trasportati in un'altra dimensione!
Exactly in the heart of Madrid, this park was for me one of the reason for which i've loved that city, just because is actually its heart. It has not so much building in it, just some statues, and with so many trees and flowers. But one of the best thing (what a chichè, but so cute!), is the little artificial lake in which you can take a boat a make a little tour in it. It could be really a moment rich of relax! The name of the park actually comes from this reason, if you take a walk between the streets into, you'll take a truly retiro indeed. It so so close to the center of the city, but actually.. so far! It's just behind the Museo do Prado, just a street and you'll be in another world!
Il mio consiglio, è recarsi nel parco senza troppe pretese. Passeggiare tranquillamente all'interno, meglio ancora se accompagnati da un bel libro e ovviamente dalla macchina fotografica! E' un luogo nel quale è realmente possibile prendersi una pausa, anche dalla vacanza stessa, e a mio parere i momenti vissuti lontano da casa ad assaporare un posto nuovo senza il costante pensiero di visitare tutte le attrazioni turistiche, saranno i ricordi più belli che porterete a casa.
Rilassatevi su una panchina, e osservatevi intorno, staccate la musica e ascoltate il cinguettio degli uccellini, vi sembrerà realmente di essere lontani dalla capitale spagnola! E se sarete fortunati, potrete osservare qualche spettacolo da parte di artisti di strada e persino qualche scoiattolo! Insomma perdetevi tra le vie di questo magnifico parco, e almeno come primo giro non guardate la cartina ma lasciatevi guidare dalla bellezza della Natura...d'altronde, vi ha mai deluso?
My only advice, is just go into the park without any kind of claims. Just take a walk inside,and it would be better with a book and a camera of course! Just take a pause, even if you're a tourist, you'll need it, and your holiday will be better than ever! I think that, that kind of moments are the bests during an holiday, because you could enjoy the place for real, and you will take at home with you the real essence of the place that you've just visited. Just relax on a bench, look around, enjoy the sings of the birds, and if you'll be lucky, you could see a play from street's artist, or some squirrel around!
So get lost in this amazing park, walk inside just seeing the beauty of the Nature around...nevertheless, did She ever disappointed you?

Mooie herinneringen aan een prachtige stad met mooie parken en dan dat eekhoorntje dat zich van dit alles niets aantrekt.
