Hi everybody!
Agosto è il mese delle vacanze, ma per chi preferisce viaggiare con un clima più mite ma soprattutto visitare luoghi con più tranquillità lontano dal caos dell'estate, agosto diventa un mese perfetto per.... prenotare! E quale idea migliore della nostra bella Italia? Ecco una meta da non perdere per chi passa dallo Stivale!

Una meta tutta italiana, facilmente raggiungibile dall'aeroporto di Genova, è la famosa e pittoresca Portofino, da sempre vacanza chic e ricca di panorami suggestivi ed emozionanti. Io ci sono stata proprio a settembre di qualche anno fa, e nonostante solo un giorno di visita poichè pernottavo a Genova, ricordo quella gita fuori porta davvero come la visita più bella di quella vacanza! I palazzi colorati, il porticciolo e le passeggiate tra le viuzze e i negozi d'alta moda della città, tutto assume un clima da film d'epoca proprio come dimostra un mio articolo di qualche tempo fa che potete leggere qui. In questo post invece, volevo condividere con voi tutte le foto di quella giornata, aggiungendo qualche piccolo consiglio, per chi decide di visitare questa meta!
A very typical italian destination, easly to catch up from the Genova airport, it's the famous and picturesque Portofino, from always the city of a chic vacation rich of emotional and suggestive landscape. I've been in this amazing city some years ago, particulary in september, and even if i stayed in that city only for one day, beacuse my hotel was in Genova, i remember that little trip like the best part of that travel . Colorfull buildings, the little port, and the walking among the nature and the little road with famouse brand shops, make that city a place rich of old film atmosphere, as i wrote into an article, some times ago.
Today, i wanted to share with you all the photo of that travel with some little adivice to all of you!
Come vi dicevo, è una meta facilmente raggiungibile da Genova (che è perfettamente collegata a molte città grazie a voli low cost Ryanair), e potete giungere alla famosa piazzetta in auto, in treno o in traghetto.
Io consiglio l'opzione treno-pulman all'andata e traghetto al ritorno, per apprezzare a pieno la bellezza del paesaggio e la tipicità del luogo!
Da Genova infatti, arriverete direttamente a Santa Margherita Ligure (potete leggere il post dedicato qui) e da qui potrete proseguire sia a piedi, sia con il pulman. Una volta giunti nel centro, per gustare a pieno della bellezza del luogo consiglio a tutti un gelato o un aperitivo, mentre tra mare e montagna scattate qualche fotografia. L'aria che si respira è davvero vacanziera e spesierata, ricordo addirittura che mentre mi perdevo tra i negozi di sartoria, acquistai un vestito colorato e lo indossai subito, perchè quasi mi sentivo troppo urbana con jeanz e t shirt! Per pranzo invece, i ristoranti nel porticciolo sono davvero ottimi (eh si, un po' costosi), ma gustare una frittura di pesce o un tipico pesto alla genovese in quello scenario, non ha davvero prezzo!
As i said, it's a city in which you can go easly, because has a good trasport connection with the principal city of the Liguria, Genova (in which you can arrived thought Ryanair planes). So, from Genova, you can arrived in Portofino by car, by train or ferryboat. For me the best soution is train and bus for the go, and ferryboat when you will return, because it's also the best way which shows you the best landscape of the city. Before of coming in Portofino, you will arrived in Santa Margherita Ligure, which is another great city that you can enjoy (you can read something about here), and after come to Portofino. When you will arrived in the centre of the little square of the city, you'll really like it, because everything will be full of coulor and nature. Enjoy and ice cream, and take a lot of picture throught sea and mountains! The air it's very tipical and so "holiday", buy a colorfull dress (like i did), and you'll be really in the spirit of the city! For the luch, enjoy the restaurant neat the port, even if they'll be a bit expecinve, taking a pesto genovese with that view, has no price!
After the lunch, a walk towards the church on Saint George in highest part, it's amazing and you can't lose it! Here the photos, so are you ready for the booking of the tikets? :)
