Oggi vi parlo di una curiosità dal mondo dell'astronomia che ho appena scoperto, ma non solo, che si svolgerà niente di meno che...stanotte!
In più vi aggiungo qualche foto scattata alla luna ultimamente, daltronde era da tempo che volevo dedicarvi un post! Buona Lettura!

Oggi, 31 agosto, sarà possibile osservare nel cielo la "Blue Moon". In pratica si tratta di un evento più o meno raro, ossia 2 pleniluni in un unico mese, il primo infatti era il primo agosto, e stanotte vedremo il secondo! Ma cosa c'entra questo con Blue Moon? Facciamo un po' di chiarezza! :)
Secondo la tradizione, quando ci sono due lune piene in un mese, la seconda dovrebbe essere quella "blu", ma non si tratta di un fenomeno "automatico".................

Si tratta in realtà di lune "grigie", e le volte in cui sono apparse realmente "blu", era comunque un'illusione ottica dovuta ad altri fenomeni naturali e non ad un cambiamento della luna vera e propria!
Si osserva una correlazione tra la luna "blu" e le eruzioni vulcaniche o forti incendi, proprio a causa delle microparticelle che giungono in atmosfera.
Quindi poichè questo mese ci sono stati forti incendi negli stati uniti, non è da escludere che questo possa causare la così detta "blue moon".

Quindi non ci resta che aspettare questa notte e puntare il naso per aria... sperando che accada l'insolito fenomeno!
Agosto si sa, è il mese delle vacanze, e un po' come il 1 Agosto era l'inizio dell'estate, questo 31 simboleggia la fine... o no?
Certamente quando un il 1° agosto guardavo la luna non avrei mai immaginato di scoprire questo fenomeno 30 giorni dopo!
