Oggi 29 Febbraio è il Blogging Day tenere alta l’attenzione sulla liberazione di Rossella Urru ed anche su tutte quelle persone come lei che sono state rapite. The Nature Jotter partecipa a questa causa, con la speranza di sensibilizzare tutti quelli che leggono questo articolo.

Today, 29 Day 2012, is a  Blogging Day dedicated to take the attention on the freedom of Rossella Urru and also on all those people like you who have been kidnapped. The Nature Jotter takes part to this cause, hoping to sensitize all the people who read this article.

Rossella, di origini sarde, è stata rapita la notte fra il 22 e il 23 Ottobre 2011 nel sud dell’Algeria, precisamente in un campo profughi Saharawi, dove si trovava da due anni come coordinatrice del Cisp per gli aiuti alimentari. Assieme a lei sono stati rapiti anche due volontari spagnoli.
In quei territori, Rossella era arrivata per aiutare la popolazione che da anni vive in dure condizioni economiche e di salute. Infatti, dal 1975 le tribù del Sahara occidentale, sono state costrette ad un esodo verso il deserto dove oggi vivono in una situazione sia di abbandono, che di sfruttamento, perché i loro territori sono ricchi di petrolio e materie prime.  Le persone e i volontari che fanno questo mestiere sono da ammirare per il coraggio e la scelta di vita importante e difficile che portano avanti, e sono tutti da sostenere.  Oggi la rete  Rete si è attivata per gridare alla liberazione immediata della giovane volontaria sarda, in mano ai suoi rapitori islamici da ormai 119 giorni.

Rossella, native of Sardinia (Italy), was kidnapped on the night between 22 and 23 October 2011 in southern Algeria, specifically in the Saharawi refugee camps, where she was for two years as coordinator of the CISP for food aid. Together with her ​​were kidnapped two Spanish volunteers.
